MIKE DOYLE

Biography

Since Carmarthen-born Mike won Opportunity Knocks back in 1988 he’s scarcely paused for breath. He’s been voted ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at the British Comedy Awards, appearing in the Royal Variety Show and starred in the BBC network comedy series ‘Something for the Weekend’. He’s also clocked up appearances on TV favorites like ‘The Des O’Connor Show’, ‘Celebrity Squares’ and ‘The Generation Game’.

In the West End Mike has received great critical acclaim for his larger than life portrayals of The Big Bopper in Buddy and Vince Fontaine and the teen Angel in ‘Grease’.

With his thrilling tenor voice and his high-energy approach to comedy he’s a regular star of pantomime, a sensational concert artiste and constantly in demand as a bill-topping performer on some of the world’s most luxurious cruise liners.
