Studio 1

Originally designed to Sain’s specifications in 1980, Studio 1 has been regularly up-dated over the years, but still retains its original character. The studio itself measures 12m x 9m and is divided into live and dead acoustic areas with an isolated recording booth.

Recording booth

 

The 3m x 2.5m recording booth is connected to both studio 2 and 3 and is particularly suitable for recording vocals and single instrument overdubbing.

Ideal for mixing, editing, dubbing, voice-overs and mastering.
4m x 3.5m control room, sound insulated & air-conditioned.

Studio 3 is also available as a separate unit for dry hire. Unit includes vocal recording booth, control room, kitchen/lounge area and WC. Equipment supplied to be discussed.

On-location recording
Sain have various set-ups available for on-location recording with experience in recording all types of music from hip hop to classical in venues ranging from the local pub to The Royal Albert Hall - please contact us for more information.   

Sain Studio hire rates 2008

Studio 2 or 3 - Recording
(including an engineer)
£40 per hour
£275 per day - 9 hours including lunch
£750 3 days
£1125 per week - 5 days

Studio 3 - Dry hire
(deposit required)
£15 per hour
£100 per day 
£250 3 days
£450 per week - 7 days

 Location Recording
£200 half day - 4 hours
£360 per day - 9 hours including lunch
£50 overtime after 9 hours - per hour
Travel - 40p per mile from Sain. Travelling time is included in the work hours.
Extras - A full size electric piano/keyboard with weighted keys - Yamaha S90ES can be hired for the recording for £50 per day
